A trip down memory lane

[This post is dedicated to the precious ones we taught with here in 2003-04.  We have thought of you SO much since we arrived back here, and it makes us miss you like crazy.  We wouldn't have had the year we did if it were not for your patience, love, encouragement, HUMOR, and joy.  We love and miss each one of you more than you know.]

One thing that is so fun about being back in this city is getting to see on a regular basis our old leaders from when we taught here in 03-04.  We went to their place for dinner last night and got to visit the school where we used to teach.  I walked through the small gate and the tears just started coming.  Memories flooded and joy was remembered.  That year is a huge part of why we came back.

Yesterday was also a fun day for catching up with some friends from the 'Ville.  Thanks to my brilliant friend Megan for realizing that we could talk to each other since she's in the country right now picking up her newest daughter!

Thanks for your post... Made me tear up! So thankful that your dream of returning is finally being realized! Thinking of you as you settle into life there. (And I must admit, I just spent a few minutes looking at ticket prices from PP... would be amazing to see you again!)
