We recently received a wonderful package in the mail from our dear friends, the Welches. Their oldest son was doing a
Flat Stanley project at school, and they invited us to participate! Boy, did we have fun hosting Flat Zachary for a week! It gave us a great excuse to hit up some tourist sites we hadn't visited yet.
First, Flat Zachary got to ride on the subway. Believe it or not, this car wasn't as crowded as cars normally are here!
Next he got to check out the Forbidden City...
Then turning around and looking right across the street, he got to see Tian'anmen Square!
Later in the week, Flat Zachary went with us to visit the Great Wall of China!
His friend Flat Katie even came along for the trip.
Flat Zachary had so much fun on his trip, that Flat Katie is thinking of making a trip back to the States to visit grandparents and friends in Louisville! I wish I could go with her! More pics of our family fun to come.
